World Casino
The artistic proposal for the Junior rooms is developed along a spectacular structure of three interconnected murals: creativity is born in the mural-headboard of the bed, joining this through the upper margin with a large second circular mural that runs along the entire ceiling of the room until it merges with the third mural, on the wall opposite the headboard.
Visual style
This work is strongly influenced by urban art, an appropriate style to develop a risky artistic proposal full of symbolism that transmits a message of protest in a sarcastic tone. This is, therefore, a work that aims to entertain but also to awaken consciences. In any case, nhow hotels are an immersive artistic experience in which fun and hedonism always prevail, so the colour and the transforming visual force of these pieces have the primary objective of transporting the viewer to an emotional and surreal context in which the scenes come to life and interact with the room through a visual chaos that turns the observer into an active part of the scene that is unfolding in the murals.
Inspiration
These murals revolve around the concept of the “World Casino”. The international financial system has traditionally been compared to a large global casino in which individuals, companies and organisations play with the wealth of people and nations by placing bets on the future (and cheating as much as possible). A big casino full of cheats in which the profits go to them and the losses are always borne by the citizens. A system in which nations go infinitely into debt, and in which the owners of the global casino shamelessly bet on the future of the prices of food and basic raw materials that are necessary for the survival of society.
