ART FOR FLOOR

This large visual work covering the floor of the first-floor hall is a continuation of the panoramic art developed on the wall. United both materially (there are no physical barriers between the two works) and conceptually, both pieces together form a large immersive composition that envelops the visitor in an unlimited visual environment.

The union of this work with the wall composition creates an enveloping visual environment that transports the viewer to a dreamlike context in which they can feel floating, inhabiting a dimension they feel part of. The magic of the union of this floor and the wall creates a unique proposal for this space that turns the hotel lobby into an experience that transcends the mixture of art, interior design, and architecture. A habitable visual universe that contains meaning and establishes an inner dialogue with the viewer. The composition can be divided into three visual layers:

✒ The first layer

The deepest layer depicts a sea in waves, inspired by traditional Japanese painting style. This layer establishes a fluid and dynamic base on which the rest of the composition is built.

✒ The second layer

Located in the middle zone, it is a tapestry of cultural elements. Here, the styles and symbols of Japanese, Mexican and African cultures intersect and blend. A series of African dishes stand out and establish a visual link with those on another floor of the hotel, creating a thematic continuity.

✒ The third layer

It adds an element of surprise and joy. Giant Japanese carp leap above the rest of the elements, bringing a sense of movement and depth to the composition. These playful and playful creatures seem to leap straight from the surface, inviting viewers to join in their dance.
