The thousand corners of Granada
This project revolves around the historic city of Granada. Through a visual tour materialised in works of art on walls and headboards, I make an interpretation of its cultural identity, its architectural symbols, traditions and history through a vision transformed into Pop Art and Kistch surrealism.
Each of the 41 rooms is themed and associated with the representation of a symbol of the city, creating an eclectic proposal that generates a melting pot of emotions and allegories that express the richness of the past and present of its artistic and cultural heritage.

The Granade`s nights
The two works of art created for this room, which form a single scene divided into two parts, reflect my vision of the night of Granada, in which references to the past and present of its culture intermingle, weaving a representation full of magic and duende. Flamenco as a cultural element that refers to the past merges with the most disruptive aesthetics of the present, generating an innovative and daring retro-futuristic proposal that expresses strong emotions through its main characters and the contextual elements that surround them.

The cathedral of Granada
The most surrealist work of art in this project is the one dedicated to representing the Cathedral of Granada. I imagined the dome of this monument as an evocation of the hole through which Alice falls while chasing the white rabbit and from this fantasy I elaborated a composition full of magic and fun, but respectful with the religious feelings and the temple in which the creativity is contextualised.

Hamman
The traditional Hamman or Arab baths, associated with Granada through its cultural heritage, are the protagonists of this proposal in which an elegant and sober surrealism evokes the serenity and tranquillity of this context.

The Arabian lamp shop
The lamp is a ubiquitous object in the traditional Arab craft shops scattered throughout the small streets and passages of the Albaicín quarter. The beauty of its extravagant designs and shapes inspired this enigmatic mural in which these objects are stacked to form a poetic ‘curtain of light’.

Inlaid Boxes
Inlaid boxes are one of the ubiquitous objets d’art in any craft shop in the historic centre of the city. Based on this symbolic element, I have developed an enigmatic puzzle on which a peacock perches, an animal associated with one of the most beautiful settings in the city, the gardens of the Generalife

The tea ceremony
This work of art, inspired by one of the most representative places in the city of Granada, the street of tea shops, symbolises through a composition structured as a collgae the beauty of the designs and traditions of the tea ceremony. The colour palette and Arabic patterns create an expressive and seductive Pop Art composition.

The Alhambra
The most symbolic and relevant architectural context of Granada, the Alhambra, a World Heritage Site, is represented in this proposal recreated in a collage full of colour, strength and visual expressiveness. Sensations take control of this vigorous Pop Art composition that transmits emotion, transcendence and historical mysticism from a modern and colourful perspective.

The gardens of the Generalife
In this work I delve into the timeless beauty of the gardens of the Generalife and the flora and fauna that make up its unusual ecosystem. A gateway to a world of enigmatic, overflowing nature seen through representations in Paper Cut visual style that, composed in a large collage, recreate this context from a dreamlike, surrealist fantasy.

One of the freshest and most irreverent works (always with a deep respect for historical figures) is this large mural starring the Catholic Monarchs, reconverted into Hard Rock stars. Through a Pop Art proposal full of energy and expressiveness, I create a surprising and unexpected representation that unites past and present through art and popular culture.

Lions’ Courtyard
This proposal represents the iconic Patio de los Leones of the architectural complex of La Alhmabra in a Pop Art composition full of strength and expressiveness that transforms the cultural symbol into a modern and daring allegory in which the past is reinvented in a surrealist way.
