The thousand corners of Granada
This project revolves around the iconic city of Granada. Through a visual journey materialized in works of art on large murals I make an interpretation of its cultural identity through a Kistch and PopArt prism that goes through architectural symbols, aspects of daily life, traditions and history.
Each room is themed and associated with the representation of a cultural symbol of the city, creating a visual melting pot of color and sensations.

THE GRANADA NIGHTS
The murals created for this room, which form a single scene divided into two parts, reflect my vision of the night of Granada, in which references to the past, present and future of its culture intermingle weaving a representation full of magic and duende.

THE CATHEDRAL OF GRANADA
The most surrealistic mural of this project is the one dedicated to represent the Cathedral of Granada. I imagined the dome of this monument as an evocation of the hole through which Alice falls while chasing the white rabbit and from this fantasy I elaborated a composition full of magic and fun, but respectful with the religious feelings and the temple in which the creativity is contextualized.

HAMMAN
The traditional Hamman or Arab baths are the context of this surrealist composition in the form of a mural that evokes the serenity and tranquility of rest.

THE ARABIAN LAMP STORE
The lamp is an omnipresent object in the traditional Arab craft stores, scattered throughout the small streets and passages of the Albaicin neighborhood. The beauty of its extravagant designs and shapes inspire this mural in which these objects are stacked forming a poetic “curtain of light”.

Inlaid boxes are one of the ubiquitous art objects in any craft store in the historic city center. The beauty of their intricate details is my inspiration for the creation of this angular mural full of magnetism.

This mural, inspired by one of the most iconic streets of the city of Granada, the street of tea shops, symbolizes, through an evocative representation, the traditional Arab tea ceremony. The serenity of the color palette combined with Pop surrealism creates an environment of magic and tranquility.

This project could not miss a mural dedicated entirely to an architectural and artistic jewel, a world heritage site, such as the Alhambra. Color and sensations take control of this vigorous PopArt composition.
