ANANTARA CONVENTO DI AMALFI GRAND HOTEL
Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, a five-star Grand Luxury hotel, is perched atop an 80-metre cliff with spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. It was originally a 13th-century monastery, and architectural elements are still visible in part of its facilities.

VISUAL COMPOSITION ON GLASS
PATCHWORK OF AMALFI TILES
The two artistic compositions created for this exclusive hotel, developed with digital tools and materialised in high quality printing on glass, represent Patchworks of aged tiles, each one of them (a total of 2406 pieces), created individually taking care to the maximum detail of their textures, imperfections, sensation of ageing and nuances of their decoration.
Starting as initial inspiration from the projects of the Brazilian studio Pedrita, I made an introspective journey to develop my personal vision as an artist on how to bring these Patchworks to my own imaginary, harmonising the result with the idiosyncrasy of the style, architecture and interior design of this unique hotel.
The illusion created, through printing on premium glass, of real tiles, generates the right finish so that the pieces fit naturally in each of the spaces (rooms and suites) in which they are framed.
The first mural, in horizontal format, contains 506 tiles, each one meticulously composed detail by detail.
The second mural, in vertical format, contains 1900 tiles, created one by one.
