VISUAL COMPOSITION ON GLASS
PATCHWORK OF AMALFI TILES
Inspired by the tile projects of the Brazilian studio Pedrita, I have created two murals in which, through meticulous work, I have recreated the textures, imperfections and singularities of hundreds of tiles. This work has been created with digital tools but carried out in an “artisan” way, creating each of the tiles detail by detail. The result is a mural in the form of a patchwork of tiles that was printed on a glossy glazed surface, giving the impression of real tiles.
